Camp Woodwings has ben operating since 2015 to offer riders a very unique experience in coming together to learn and progress at once specific facility with some incredible instructors.
The WoodWings project wants to share their knowledge and passion for longboarding and the freedom they experience within it. They want to create a community where attendees have the freedom and opportunity to enjoy the sport in a safe and unique environment where they can continue to develop their passion and experience. With their own private facility in the French Alps, they work hard to provide you with the best training, holiday, leisure and camp facilities you can imagine. BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR / MONITOR
For summer 2018 we are looking to expand our all-round team of instructors and monitors. Since our growing international audience asks for a bigger international crew of passionate instructors/monitors, we might be looking for you!
Are you a freestyle longboarder, a downhill skateboarder or a freeboarder? Are you 18 years (born in 2000) or older? Do you have what it takes to join our family and to support us in spreading the WoodWings story? If that’s the case, you might have found your next summer job!
WHO ARE YOU?
Your heart starts beating faster when you hear someone say ‘mountains’ or you are you always 200% stoked for a good flatland freestyle sesh.
You’re a good teamplayer, and just like the rest of us, you’re a bit crazy. You have tons of energy and good vibes to share with our attendees.
Longboarding and/or downhill sports are your life. You can’t stop talking about your passion and you love to teach it to others.
You speak fluently English and/or French. The main language of the camp is English, although other languages can be used for better coaching in small groups.
You want to spend one to four weeks of the summer on our basecamp in the French Alps. There are four available weeks between the 1st and 31st of July.

As the face of WoodWings, you will be there to make our guests feel at home and give them an unforgettable experience. You’re the representation of what WoodWings stands for:
Positivity is key: you’ve good social skills, your smile is your best friend and you are full of enthousiasm in everything you do.
You are reliable and have a good sense of responsibility, on every hour of the day. You’re in charge of the safety of all riders!
You always take the initiative and work proactive. You don’t wait for the others to get the job done.
And last but certainly not least: you respect the camp schedule and are ALWAYS on time.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
As a monitor you are responsible for the overall organisation of the camp. You help our guests during the check-in, you run the daily activities such as lessons, workshops and briefings, you secure the roads and shuttle the riders, you help out in kitchen and bar work, etc..
In return for your work, we give you:
International transport to our camp
Free stay at our camp
Use of the camp facilities
Goodiebag with gear
Instructors: sufficient free time for skating
Monitors: sufficient time for lessons or skating
