Rayne Team Rider: George Mackenzie[wptouch target=”mobile”] [/wptouch]
It’s official! We brought you the news nearly a month ago, and now Rayne has made their official announcement with a welcome to the team video and press release. G-Mack shreds, that much is obvious.
Rayne Longboards has been making industry leading skateboards and skateboard products for the longboard and downhill speedboard market since 2004. Skater owned, operated, designed and manufactured, Rayne Longboards sits at the base of Canada’s North Vancouver mountains, some of the most fertile proving grounds for the World’s best riders.
George “G-Mac” Mackenzie, originally from Alberta, Canada, has been regarded as one of the most prominent riders in downhill skateboarding. G-Mac, has taken numerous podiums over his short professional career. Most recently, George took Second place in the 2012 International Gravity Sports Association World Cup. Like most skateboarding, sanctioned competitions are often bitter sweet and G-Mac is probably more well known for his fluid, versatile, ambidextrous attack on downhill and freeride runs. Not just a great skater, George is generally quiet, friendly, smiling, chill and typically sipping a coffee and enjoying life.
After nearly a year of flirting, Rayne Longboards is proud to announce what we anticipate to be an incredible union – George Mackenzie has joined the Rayne team! We could not be happier to have G-Mac join Rayne and cannot wait to bring you the fruit of our collective stoke.[sam id=”9″ codes=”true”]
