Arbor Sucrose Initiative :: The Grillz – SPECIAL EDITION VICE
The Sucrose crew is up to their old tricks – sub-Urban slashing and yolo bombing on the new Grillz edition of our Vice wheel. Check out Daniel MacDonald, Cooper Darquea, and Will Clay getting their Grillz on in the neighborhoods north of Arbor’s Venice Headquarters.
The new Grillz are made for all you skitters out there doing skids – let’s get something clear, you crave thane lines. Don’t even try to deny it. That’s why we developed the new Schlub Thane Formula – a twist on our tried and true Sucrose Formula. This formula is made to be consistent and easy to slide, so cop this wheel if you wanna run the club and leave heinously thick thane lines. You’re gonna like the way you look.
The Grillz – Special Edition Vice weighs in at 69mm tall, with a 35.5mm contact patch and 2mm core offset, with an 80a durometer.
The Sucrose Initiative was developed to bring together rider based design, performance across a wide range of conditions, and an effort to start reducing our reliance on petroleum based materials. The combination of our highly durable Sucrose urethane, proprietary shape, and exclusive Groovetube Core make these wheels the highest performing and cheapest lift ticket on the hill.

The Sucrose Initiative was developed to bring together rider based design, performance across a wide range of conditions, and an effort to start reducing our reliance on petroleum based materials.
Arbor’s Sugar Formula significantly improves performance and creates one of the longest-lasting wheels on the market. The natural component also reduces, in a small but important way, the petroleum footprint of our wheels lessening the environmental impact of constantly sliding wheels. This resistance to deterioration ensures that you maintain speed and performance in your riding, improving grip, slide, and the life of your wheels.
Arbor’s Groovetube core has a wider “tube” profile that allows the wheel to hold its shape where it’s supposed to and flex where it needs to. This greatly improves performance across of a range of conditions by improving grip, roll, and slide. Though wide and supportive, the Groovetube core is only 35mm tall, smaller than any other core on the market, and gives you more life out of your wheel than all of the competition.
