Denvner Gravity Games Coming September 10th

The Denver Gravity Games is a closed course time trial happening on September 10th at Barnum Park, Denver, CO. A 1/4 mile course crammed with seven turns and speeds of 30+ mph create a quick and ultra technical race to the bottom. The race is open to longboard, street luge, inline, drift trike, g-bike, adaptive, and anything else directly human and gravity powered.

The goal of the event is to bring the many downhill communities together to exchange ideas and try new things. By connecting our scenes we can create a positive force for all downhill racing. No matter what your style or ability, you can come out and ride.

Not only are they forging new bonds between downhill sports, we are breaking boundaries with how races are timed. With support from the Global Speed Index, a smart phone app, we are simplifying event timing. No need to rent expensive chip timers or hire a timing company. Simply download the app, setup your profile, and ride. With coordination from the developer we have set a detailed route with start and finish lines so all you need to do is ride fast and have fun. The rewards of racing with the atmosphere of a freeride, what’s not to like?

Oh, and did I mention there will be a banked turn? Yeah, that’s happening too.
