NoCoast Trashbag Doubles Draft Battle Championship Outlaw Classic 2016

Come try something new in the Ozark Mountains, Arkansas, at the 2016 NoCoast Trashbag Doubles Draft Battle Championship Outlaw Classic!

Race in teams of two for over ten minutes, from the top to the bottom of an Ozark mountain. The first racer to cross the finish claims the win for both themselves and their team member in that heat. Leathers will be prohibited and all racers must instead wear a mandatory “budget poncho”.

Date & Location:
October 15, 2016
Near Ft. Smith, AR (address to be disclosed a week or so before the event)

Race Course:
The course is all grip, peaking at around 45mph or so, but occasionally getting frustratingly slow. The pavement is quite bad, with numerous potholes, but it is drafty and should be interesting to race. From top to bottom, the run is over 10 minutes long.

Safety (or lack there of):
Due to the road’s length and the fact that it is an outlaw, expect to race an open road – albeit with some potential spotters. There will be no hay. However, the road provides plenty of time to wait for safe passing opportunities, and it consists of almost entirely sweepers. Helmets and gloves are required.
