Event Update: Give A 2nd Chance Skateboard Festival 2017

More details on the Give a 2nd Chance Skateboard Festival in Beverly Hills, CA

Atop the highest mountain in Beverly Hills lies one of the most prestigious and extravagant pieces of land in the United States; The Vineyard Beverly Hills. On October 14-15, in association with The Garage Boardshop and Landyachtz Longboards, The Vineyard will host the 2-day charity fundraiser celebrating skateboarding, music, art, and the interconnection between them.

There will be a temporary skatepark located at the top, hosting pro, amateur, and Women’s skate contests as well as open skate sessions all weekend On the hillside is a 10-hairpin access road that will be the site of the downhill skateboarding freeride. We will be shuttling skaters all weekend long, ensuring participants will get the most amount of skate time possible. Downhill participation is capped at 100 riders. Check out the video below highlighting this awesome road!

Our festival area will be packed with awesome skate industry vendors, food trucks, and a beer garden. Enjoy live music all weekend long, and make sure to stop by the art show, featuring works from kids in the Skate 4 Education program.

100% of proceeds generated at the Give A Second Chance Skateboard and Art Festival will go to Skate 4 Education, a nonprofit skateboard after-school program in East LA. Skate 4 Education focuses on ensuring that young skateboarders get a quality education, while facilitating their artistic, entrepreneurial, and skateboard talents.
